You'll be implementing new technologies for website portals. Also, developing, writing, working and installing applications in .Net as well as researching requirements, resolving challenging issues and maintaining our corporate infrastructure. 2. Our client is seeking a Jr. SQL DBA for an immediate direct hire position in Innsbrook.
Primary Duties
Write SQL Server stored procedure and DTS/SSIS ETL packages
Assist in developing functional specifications, design of data structures and development
Communicate technical solutions to business counterparts
Develop Extract reports for clients using multiple reporting tools (i.e. Excel, SSRS)
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot client data issues
Learn new technologies and become familiar with current business processes
Education/Skills & Knowledge
Bachelors Degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
Minimum 3-4 years database experience writing T-SQL code.
Good experience and knowledge of SQL Server 2000. SQL 2005 experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge developing and using store procedures, triggers, DTS/SSIS, SQL Server Reporting Services,
Familiar with Advanced database concepts (normalization/de-normalization, data partition, data hygiene).
Communication skills.
Prior data warehouse design and implementation experience preferred.
